Sitting Down With Global Citizen

"Bringing back meaning to toys, one handmade doll at a time." - Global Citizen
We are honored that Global Citizen invited us to be a part of their September/October 2013 issue. If you are in the Middle East, be sure to pick up a copy.

"Every detail, from the intricate hairdos to the bows on the feet is indicative of their extraordinary craftsmanship." - Nausheen Noor, Global Citizen Contributor

"This calling had been sitting in my headspace for some time and I think becoming a mother gave me the courage to explore it. If I didn't have the courage to fulfill my potential, how could I ask her to? If I wasn't willing to try and make a positive difference in this crazy world, how could I ask her to? If I wasn't willing to put my values above profit, how could I ask her to?" - Sahar Wahbeh, Dumyé Founder

Global Citizen has shined a bright light on our mission and we are incredibly grateful. If you too know someone who would appreciate our hand-crafted dolls and our greater purpose, don't be shy and share Dumyé's story with them. To make it easy you can use those cute little social sharing buttons below. Thank you xo

Correction: The article in Global Citizen incorrectly states that Dumyé has already gifted dolls to orphans in Africa. Although Dumyé has a relationship with an orphanage in Africa, no dolls have been gifted as of September 2013.
