It's Really Happening

Hello there,

My name is Sahar Wahbeh. I am a mother, a designer and the founder of Dumyé. After a whole lot of dreaming, we are only days away from opening Dumyé’s online store offering personalized, handcrafted ragdolls made with Karmic Goodness. But before that happens, I wanted to officially introduce myself and thank you. {virtual hug} Somewhere along the line you decided to join us and we could not be more delighted to have you.

Soon you will be presented our first collection of 6 limited edition dolls and discover what makes a Dumyé doll so special. But today I would like to share with you our purpose, so that you can know our heart a little bit better.

We are working to bring love and light into the lives of not only our children, but also the children who have not been spoken for. There are millions of orphans around the world who have been victimized by senseless wars, preventable diseases and suffocating poverty. For every doll you purchase, we gift a doll to a child in need and allow them to make it their own in an art workshop. This process of doll creation gives them an opportunity to reflect upon themselves, process what they have been through and control at least one piece of their world. So not only does a special child in your life receive a meaningful gift but an orphan does as well.
