DATE: Friday, November 17th
LOCATION: Re:Urban Studio, Dubai Design District, Building 7, Office B-107
Inspired by the workshops we hold with orphaned and vulnerable children, each child will be asked to draw their hero. We will then lead the children through the process of taking their drawings and bringing them to life as a doll. Each child will leave with their completed doll and the knowledge that their participation enables a less fortunate child to create a meaningful doll of their own.
This workshop is for children 6 – 16 years old, youngsters will need to be accompanied by an adult. The children will learn basic sewing skills, exercise creative thinking, learn how to bring their ideas into the real world and share a tangible experience of how even they can make a positive difference in someone else’s life.
